A wealth of experience
Taos Land Services, LLC, is owned and managed by Ryan Duffield of Tulsa, OK, where he resides with his wife, Michelle, and his son, Jack. Ryan leads projects with fourteen years of land experience (ten years in hydrocarbons and four years in renewables) spanning several states (PA, OH, WV, OK, TX, AR, KS, and MO) and is seasoned at negotiating energy instruments, performing title research (PLSS; M&B), and curative. Moreover, he secured tens of thousands of acres for oil and gas operations (minerals, surface, and curative), 12,000+ acres for utility-scale solar, and several hundred acres for community-scale (DG) solar.
Ryan holds a B.S. in Marketing from Oklahoma State University, a B.A. in Management from Fort Lewis College (Durango, CO), and a Master’s degree from OU Law: MLS in Oil, Gas, and Energy Law. Ryan is a Certified Professional Landman (CPL) and he completed the Renewable Energy Certificate Program with the AAPL.
Ryan is the ninth landman in his family and leads his team as a third-generation landman.
